Pahawang Trip

Pahawang

Finally, I did it. Travelling at the end of the year. I ended up my 2016 with a magical view.

Actually, I was confused which place should I take for Holiday. I had 3 choices, which were Bandung, Belitung, and Pahawang. After took a long time, I chose Pahawang just because Bandung was so near from Jakarta and Belitung was to mainstream for end of year Holiday (hahaha, all of them actually were a mainstream place for holiday destination).

Pahawang located in Lampung, Sumatera Selatan. I went there for 3 days 2 nights with my sister. We joined an open trip by Lenggang Wisata. It spent around 700k, include meals, snacks, upgrade room at Fery, etc, etc. I thought it was a well spent money for new year holiday, hehe.

I really loved the view, the sea had a clear water. Omg all of the snorkeling spots were super good. The water was so clear, I could see all the beautiful coral reefs, nemo, even a sea snake. It was an amazing journey. 

Not only Pahawang, all of the moments from Jakarta-Pahawang-Jakarta was an excited journey for me. First timer used Ferry to Lampung hahaha, and how did I feel? Tetooot. haha. It was my 2nd time in Lampung. I’ve ever went to Lampung in 2016 for business trip. And my first moment in that city was “ is it an Airport?”. The airport was still under-contraction. So, I decided to used Ferry in this time. 

Our first ferry was not so good, we got a quite small Ferry. We slept together in a big room and thanks God, still had a good AC there. I couldn’t imagine if I turned into a grilled fish, hoho. But the place was quite good, never eat Pop Mie as good as it, around 15k. 

Tips : you can bring instant Noodle from outside and just payed for hot water around 5k. More cheaper and I’ve just figured it there hehe. 
But our 2nd one was super good. I upgraded my room into VIP one. Actually It was around 200k but I shared the room with the other friends from our open trip group. And of course it would be more cheaper hehehe. The room was good, had a clean bathroom, TV, AC, snack and refill water hehe. Yeay, I had my best moments with Ferry!

It took around 2-3 hours from Jakarta to Lampung.

And from Lampung, you would have another road trip around 2-3 hours to Dermaga Ketapang. 

After arrived in Dermaga Ketapang, I eat breakfast, Nasi kuning + telur. And ready to had a trip to Pahawang used a traditional boat. We went to some islands which become our Snorkeling spots. It was around 4 Islands and all of the spot were perfect. I couldn’t ask more to God. Lovely twilight, beautiful sunset and everything in between.

We also had a wonderful new year eve with a lot of fireworks and local DJ. Feeling in DWP, dude haha. I posted more pictures on my Instagram, you can check it there. A moment to remember. I hope I can visit more new place this year. 2017 will become year full of exploring.
